CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT

If your appointment was made a week or more in advance you will receive a SMS prior to their appointment asking you to confirm. We ask that you promptly confirm or cancel your appointment by replying either Y, Yes, N, or No. Alternatively you’re welcome to phone to confirm.

In addition to the confirmation SMS, David Murry Salon may send you a link to confirm your appointment by entering your card details which will be securely stored and may charged a minimum of $50 or 50% of the total cost of services, whichever is greater if you fail to arrive with-in 15 minutes of the appointment time, cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not turn up.

DEPOSIT FOR NEW GUESTS

A small deposit is always required for new guests before their first appointment. A deposit may be asked of existing guests if they have not shown up to past appointments. Deposits can be made over the phone directly into our EFTPOS terminal, card numbers are not stored on file and are not written down. Deposits can also be made by bank transfer and a screen shot emailed to hair@davidmurrysalon.com.au as proof of payment, please discuss this with the Salon Manager.

APPOINTMENT TIME

At DMS, we prefer that all clients arrive on time for their appointment. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, your appointed Stylist or Colourist may need to reschedule your appointment as this will impact the time available for subsequent appointments. Your appointed Stylist or Colourist may offer an alternative person to look after you if available. This may also incur a $50 cancellation fee or the loss of your pre-paid deposit if applicable.

CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT

For our business to operate efficiently, maintain our team and for our team to be happy and financially secure they need to be busy. We kindly ask that cancellations are made within 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Please call 38443333 and leave a voice message.

RESPONSIBILITY OF CHILDREN AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS

DMS is a relaxing place for adults. If children are accompanying you please do not allow them to play on the salon furniture and for the comfort of others please preoccupy them with the cheapest babysitter of all, an iPad.

Please also note that personal items are the responsibility of the client at all times. This includes iPhones, we remove capes quickly and will not be responsible for the condition of your screen if your phone is on top of your cape.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment for all services can be made by cash, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard.

COLOUR QUOTES ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE

Quotes for all colour services will not be issued by email or via social media platforms. DMS is happy to provide a price guide after a detailed conversation over the phone and whilst we endeavour to provide accurate price guides over the phone, prices may vary following a face-to-face in-depth consultation in the salon. Please request a quote from your colourist during your consultation at the beginning of your appointment.
