CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT

All clients are sent an SMS prior to their appointment. We ask that you promptly confirm or cancel your appointment by replying either Y, Yes, N, or No. Alternatively you’re welcome to phone to confirm. At the time of booking or in the days leading up to your appointment we may request a non refundable deposit. Your appointment is not confirmed until we have received this deposit. The deposit amount will be deducted from your bill on the day of your appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, fail to arrive at your appointment, or are running later than 15 minutes and we are no longer able to look after you that day, your deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee.

APPOINTMENT TIME

At DMS, we prefer that all clients arrive on time for their appointment. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, your appointed Stylist or Colourist may need to reschedule your appointment as this will impact the time available for subsequent appointments. Your appointed Stylist or Colourist may offer an alternative person to look after you if available. This may also incur a $50 cancellation fee or the loss of your pre-paid deposit if applicable.

CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Our staff have the same cost of living expenses as everybody. For our staff to be happy and financially secure they need to be busy so we kindly ask that cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. As we do not have a dedicated receptionist cancelations will be accepted by phone only.

If you have confirmed your appointment (by any of the options above) and then do not arrive at the appointed time, DMS may deem it necessary to charge a $50 cancellation fee.

RESPONSIBILITY OF CHILDREN AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS

DMS is a relaxing place for adults. If children are accompanying you please do not allow them to play on the salon furniture and for the comfort of others please preoccupy them with the cheapest babysitter of all, an iPad.

Please also note that personal items are the responsibility of the client at all times. This includes iPhones, we remove capes quickly and will not be responsible for the condition of your screen if your phone is on top of your cape.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment for all services can be made by cash, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard.

COLOUR QUOTES ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE

Quotes for all colour services will not be issued by email or via social media platforms. DMS is happy to provide a price guide after a detailed conversation over the phone and whilst we endeavour to provide accurate price guides over the phone, prices may vary following a face-to-face in-depth consultation in the salon. Please request a quote from your colourist during your consultation at the beginning of your appointment.
